Socio-technological articulation for the Local Network of Support and Care

Description

This project was integrated by our associate researcher Andrés Aparicio, our senior researcher Paula Miranda (UC School of Social Work), researcher Claudia Martínez (UC Institute of Economics), professor María Alejandra Inostroza (UC School of Social Work) and external researcher Gonzalo Varas.

It was one of the chosen projects by the UC Center of Public Policies from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and it sought to contribute with a socio-technological articulation proposal for the government programme “Red Local de Apoyos y Cuidados” developed by the Ministry of Social Development and Family of Chile.

Specifically, the goals were:

  • To characterize the operation of the delivery of specialized services within the framework of the program.
  • To identify critical nodes in the process of collecting information on providers of technological tools.
  • The definition of a proposal for socio-technological articulation that integrates the information collected and allows for improved communication and decision-making at the central and local levels.

The project had a 12-months duration.
