From November 10th to 11th, the IX International COES Conference: “The future of the common: challenges for coexistence” was held at the Nicanor Parra Library of the Diego Portales University. Various international guests, 7 themes and an interdisciplinary program characterized this year’s edition of the event.
The conference, whose focus was on social cohesion, had the participation of MICARE’s young researcher Bárbara Flores.
Her presentation was titled “Participation trajectories and dynamics of working conditions in relation to care: a longitudinal comparison between women and men who care for others” and it was part of the “Gender, care and community feminism” stream of the event. The exposed research is also authored by Francisca Ortiz, MICARE postdoctoral researcher.
